Program Description:


Dear Applicant:
Any student who wants to study abroad and meets the eligibility criteria below may apply for the MARIO & DORIS LAURENTI INTERNATIONAL STUDY SCHOLARSHIP. Students pursing independent research abroad may also apply with support from faculty sponsors.
Eligibility is limited to full-time enrolled, high-achieving TCNJ students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 studying and/or conducting academic research in a developing country in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, or Latin America.

Preference will be given to students who have studied the language of normal instruction where they are based.

Recipients need to be willing to speak on campus and in their respective home communities about their international experiences upon their return, and will be required to submit a written summary of their experiences to the Office of College Advancement to share with the Laurenti family.

Complete applications will include an application form, a personal statement, and a faculty reference. The forms and the writing prompt for the personal statement may be found in this packet.
