The total cost of the TCNJ Prague program is $8480 paid in two parts:
a) TCNJ will bill students $7980 for study center fee which includes tuition & fees and package of field trips and excursions in Prague, the Czech Republic, and Central Europe, and this part of the fee is payable to TCNJ. (Semester payment plans may be used to pay this part of the fee.)
b) A $500 deposit is due and paid separately to the Prague program, CERGE-EI Foundation. This serves as a deposit for the semester. For EOF students, should you apply to this program TCNJ can bill you the $500 deposit so that you can use your aid package, but you must notify the CGE office.
*TCNJ Study Center fees are subject to change as the Board each year reviews and adjusts cost at the start of the fiscal year in July.
Housing in the TCNJ Prague program will be secured upon arrival by the students, with ample support from the local program staff. Local real estate agencies with which the local program staff have worked for some time will provide available furnished apartments to students, and students will sign leases for the duration of the program. A damage deposit will be paid in addition to rent (which should fall in the $2,000-$2,500 range for the entire semester), and the deposit will be returned to students after the final inspection of the apartment has been completed. (Damages to the apartment will be subtracted from the deposit, and the deposit will likely be wired back to the student electronically.)
